Wedding Reading of the week- Week One

Vows are said to be the most personal and important part of your wedding ceremony... and I totally agree! I think a close second, is the wedding reading or readings, that you choose. They can create tears... laughter... reflection... admiration... its up to you.

Your choice of wedding reading, says a lot about 'you as a couple' and ultimately allows your family and friends, to really know 'what you believe, to be true' about marriage. It can be a very emotional time in a ceremony or you can have everyone in fits of laughter.... it is completely up to you!

I have decided to start posting some of my favourite wedding readings, written by some amazing authors. It may help you decide, on a reading, for your special day.

Remember that it is your wedding ceremony, and you are truly able to choose anything you want.

Wedding Reading of the week- Week One

The Bridge Across Forever by Richard Bach

"A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we're pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person, we're safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we're two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we've found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life."

Why choose this one?

- It is honest and uplifting

- It discusses 'sharing direction' which I believe to be very important aspect of a relationship... so if you do too, it may be the reading for you!
